It'll be fine.  18 year old kids do not want to draw adult attention to themselves.  They want to hang out on the beach, body surf, go to arcades, play mini golf, eat chli dogs and cheesy fries.

I am a psychotherapist who works with teens.  Parents would be shocked at what they seemingly innocent, good grade teens are doing.  I’m not trying to upset you but you have no idea!

These are legal adults and they are heading off to college.  Forbidding beach week is only stalling what they are going to do anyway.  My own kid is fairly responsible, not a partyer, not the type to bed just anyone.  I'm holding out hope that his normal good common sense will prevail. [/quote]
