So step off unless you know what you're talking about[/quote] NP here. You have two choices: get a dog trainer to train the dog not to do this or restrain the dog. I would put up baby gates on the kitchen and keep the dog there while visitors are in the house until you get the dog trained. You clearly don't know how to train the dog yourself, so you need to get someone who does know how to train the dog. Randomly trying to get the dog to change its behavior isn't going to work.[/quote]
