I have a friend who parks in the driveway and I think there's someone in my neighborhood who parks on the street. The technology is designed to be weatherproof even in rain, snow or ice. No one has L3 charger in their home. Most people don't even need a level 2 charger (having L2 for a volt seems like overkill to me but ymmv). Basically thebquestion is how long you want to drive between charging. If you drive 30 miles a day and are ok plugging the car in every night then you probably would do fine with just plugging the car into a wall outlet. BTW EVs are much more fun to drive than most ICEs. [/quote]
