Lee HS pyramid parent here with 6th grader - we are interested in attending an IB school but discouraged hearing about students pupil placing out at Lee. With only 6 AP classes, I'm wondering if Lee students can/are still able to pupil place out to Hayfield or WSHS? Based on above posts, Lee offers the most AP.
The school has definitely slowed the pupil placements out, but theyh have not stopped completely. No pupil placements to WSHS because it is closed to transfers. Still lose some students to Lake Braddock, South County, Hayfield, and Edison - not sure what part of the regulation they use - could be language (curriculum), sibling, senior, FCPS employee, or social/emotional justification.
