BofA calls the vendor, confirms the payment was issued by the account holder and asks for any late fees to be removed, then reissues the payment. Not that I like BofA, but that part is very efficient. As far as BofA fees go...they charge a $12 fee for incoming wire transfers! This is just one of many different types of fees they charge. If you're careful or just do run-of-the-mill banking you can avoid most if not all fees. [/quote]
