OP here, Okay, so I am starting my second week and I feel great! The first couple of days were absolutely grueling and I NEVER want to go through that again, so it will be good motivation to stick with this in the future. There are so many people on FB who've been on this plan for six months or longer and it's hugely inspiring to know that so many people can stick it out for so long, and I'm hoping I'm one of them. My hunger and cravings are all gone. I can make entire meals for my family and not even be tempted to taste it at all. I did make a mistake the other day and I forgot to have my evening snack--which I know is important because the instruction sheet tells us in all caps to not skip the evening snack under any circumstance. Ah well, I don't plan to make it a trend. The coffee shakes have been a game changer because I find it difficult to drink my coffee on its own, or eat breakfast on its own, but the espresso shake is a great compromise and I think it suits me well. The vanilla crispy square love has kind of overstayed its welcome. I got tired of them by the third day and have moved on to other items in the bag and I haven't had the Dorados at all. The mug cake turned out to be decent as long as I add an egg white to it, some vanilla extract, and bake it in my air fryer instead of the microwave. I've been forced to get creative with my vegetables and again, I can't believe that it has taken me so long to eat some of these on a regular basis. Funny how such a restricted diet is showing me how lacking my regular diet used to be.
Hi OP, I'm going to call myself Sarah (the PP who started IP recently too). It's good to hear week 2 is going well for you! I'm on day 4 and down 4 lbs.. my starting weight was 137 and I'm 133! My goal weight is 115... what about you? I haven't tried many of the products yet but I do really like the chocolate shake (with espresso), chocolate crispy square, oatmeal packets used for the zucchini muffins, chocolate soy puffs and my favorite is the chocolate brownie warmed up for 30 seconds. I have one every day so far. I've been having headaches here and there but I find when I add salt and drink more water they get better. Hoping I get to where you are when the hunger is less!
Hi Sarah! Are you weighing yourself at home? I have not been weighed since April 6 and won't be weighed until April 19, so I'm not sure how much if any weight loss I've had. I'm scared to weigh at home because I don't want to weigh myself at the wrong time and then have to compare that to my weigh in at the clinic. My goal weight is nowhere near yours unfortunately. I'm starting out at 194 and my goal is your starting weight practically, 130! You'll lose that weight in no time, but I know that I'm in for a long and difficult road ahead, at least a year and maybe longer if my past weight loss achievements are any indication (I certainly hope not but I'm preparing myself for it). The chocolate brownie sounds delicious! I'm getting my list together for the food I want to buy next week so maybe I'l try that. I wish they had half boxes, I don't like having to eat the same packets for the week, but at $30 a box it seems that the desire for variety will be limited unless you really want to pay for it.
