I poked around a little & can't find great data, but anecdotally, not all the eligible MV families sent their kids to DCI, so if the uncertainty is only a medium concern, don't worry it too much. We also had this (amazingly lucky) choice, went with MV (weren't sold on Montessori and the LAMB commute was going to be intense)--and we're really, really happy. Our kids have had great teachers, they're into the community, they like the Spanish. If you think your kid may have learning delays or need support, I've heard some stories that would give me pause about MV. But they've got early childhood stuff down, and our 2nd grader has had four good years with the school. Good luck! You're unlikely to get it wrong, honestly.
There are a lot of MV families in Mt Pleasant (there is a bus that leaves from there) so some of those kids may go to Deal if that feeder continues. I also had the choice of MV and LAMB and chose MV. I've been very happy.
