Definitely will save airfare and car rental. [/quote] Drive is about 10-12 hours depending on how fast you drive, number of stops, etc. It's not bad and I've done it multiple times. All on the interstates (two lane highways mostly). We mostly would drive overnight for our DD's sake, so deer were an issue at times, but that was the worst of it. The border crossing is a breeze vis a vis US-Mexico crossing. Plus, you will save a ton of money versus flying ($300~), and when you incorporate the drive to the airport, two hours waiting/security, flight, etc, that's at least 4-5 hours right there or 50% of the way! :) [/quote]
