In DC there are just a few medical dispensaries and I think that your card is tied to one. It's something that shows up in Google.  Seems like a bad idea to cross state lines to get it, doesn't it?

In DC you have to choose a specific dispensary. In MD you can go to any MD dispensary. Some doctors can make recommendations to residents of either place. If you live in MD, you should register online with the MMCC first. Then you get an ID# and can see a doc who will recommend medical cannabis. The doc doesn’t provide the goods. Once you’re official, you can show up at a MD dispensary w/ your ID and ID#.

And really, it shouldn’t matter if you bring cannabis between MD and DC. I’d hesitate before going into VA though. [/quote]
