As far as **I** know, nothing has been widely communicated to participating families across FPYC.  I realize that many positions within the organization are staffed by volunteers (possibly, unpaid), and I'll assume that most folks have daily duties that are far more important than FPYC.  Furthermore, this issue may only be affecting a few girls' teams in just one of the 12 or so sports within the club.

I have yet to send an e-mail to our Soccer Director for a more formal response.  I don't think this specific case requires immediate action, so I may wait to engage after the spring season.

I would be interested in learning if other clubs are facing similar issues (barely fielding one team at a specific age/birth year).  The 2008s are a special case given the shift from academic year to birth year significantly affects them more than other years.[/quote]
