Good lord the drama. You make these sound like failing schools LOL. I've had a perfectly fine experience with IEPs as a parent and educator in LCPS. [/quote]

LC schools are not up to par with neighboring counties. Why are our sat scores so much lower?

Your "perfectly fine experience" as a parent with a child with an IEP is not representative of what other parents experience. But then, you work for the school system so that is no surprise here. I love how you dismiss someone who has reservations about special ed in LCPS. Drama indeed. Services are being stripped to unacceptable levels, parents are retaliated against for questioning, we have a shortage of trained special education staff and VDOE is investigating.
