-4 I love Costco.
-4:is not a strong Rx. OP, I'm following this. I've worn contacts for almost 30 years. One eye is -9.75 and I need bifocals.
OP here: I'm going to go to at least one place mentioned here next week - I will post back about what I find! To the poster who mentioned cataracts surgery, it is apparently amazing for people with severe myopia to have it done - a total game changer as they can see well without contacts or glasses for the first time! My eye dr. would like me to wait on any implantable lenses due to my age - at 42, I could potentially have these eyes another 50 years and he wants to know long term effects, since most people have the surgery at a much older age. But, it will likely be an option by the time I'm in mid 50s and they continue to innovate those options. In the meantime, I'll post back my experiences with getting cute, well-fitting glasses.
That makes sense, my dad is in his early 60s, and of course I hope he lives forever! He’s been so ecstatic about his eyesight it’s really funny.
