If we think about that, the AAP, TJ, top colleges, top employers looking for the summer interns - all of them want to ensure that a student is active in and passionate about some extracurricular activity, in addition to having the best grades in school. It wouldn't be logical for TJ to deny admission specifically because of that - if a child had prepared for a concert/tournament for several months and requested an alternate test date because that concert/tournament was also scheduled for 2/3. The DD's debate coach even asked the tournament leadership to check the TJ test dates next time, before finalizing the tournament schedule for the year. [/quote]
