I gave my wife strict instructions on how to deal with it. Give him all the time he needs and keep a passive face. Don’t walk out of the room. Never finish his sentences for him. Never criticize him for stuttering and, just as importantly, never praise him for not stuttering. within a year, his stutter deconstructed to how it started and faded away. [/quote]
