Well.....Nassar wasn't just seeing MSU students, who were mostly beyond his "preferred age range" for abuse. He was also seeing elite gymnasts from throughout the Midwest, who were referred to him by USA Gymnastic. However, when the abuse was first reported, it was reported to MSU even though the victims were not MSU students. They were middle and high school-aged girls from throughout the Great Lakes region. In fact, MSU has used that fact to claim they were not responsible for Nassar's actions, because the girls he molested were not MSU students. [/quote]
