My mom had me naturally at 42 and my little brother completely naturally (and quite unexpectedly!) at 47 after 20 years of unsuccessful attempts. Docs had been leading them astray over what time of the month to try and conceive, although who knows what other factors went into that- sometimes it's a complete mystery. My mom and I are incredibly close and we all had an amazing childhood. My parents just got back from zip lining in Costa Rica. They are SO much less fragile seeming and much more adventous about life than most of their friends. Couldn't have asked for better parents![/quote]
