So a new related question, I am looking at apartment rentals for June or July and wondering how best to approach. Would not having AC be nuts? I've looked at AirBNB and most do not. Are there travel agents that specialize in this? I'm a little unsure about booking a place based only on the online pictures. Interested in anyone's experience.
Paris is not normally a very warm place, but because of global warming they have been having more common heat waves, but they are very unpredictable. Had a friend go in August last year and the high each day was 75. But the heat waves can definitely push into the 90s. https://www.thelocal.fr/20170618/temperatures-in-france-soar-amid-more-heatwave-warnings Because of the scarcity of A/C you will pay a pretty penny for it. Personally I'd book a place that was on a lower level and look for reviews that specifically discuss heat and time of year. also message the owner and see about fans and such. And never book a place with less than 10 reviews.
