From a medical point of view, in such a situation, the risks of the pill outweigh the benefits. Medicine is always a balance of pros and cons. My advice would be different if the teen was sexually active, or if the teen had certain types of special needs, or was cognitively impaired in some way and not able to follow through on what she declared.[/quote]
