I have what I think (!) is a philodendron, that I got as a 4" seedling from a lady who grew it from a seed. I replanted it once because it was in a tiny container, and put it in a corner that does not get a lot of light (I got it purposely because a friend of mine had the same plant, and it thrived with little light, and I knew that would make me feel like I really have a green thumb. :) Plus they filter the air). Mine thrived too, and 4 feet/ 8 months later, I moved it to a higher low-light area because my cat was eyeing it. It did fine there, didn't grow a lot, but I moved it again because I was forgetting to water it. It's still doing great. [/quote]
