Getting As in MCPS is now too easy for it to have any sort of meaning. I am fully in support of grading much harder, so that colleges can distinguish between the wide range of abilities currently getting As. By harsher standards, my son would probably not have gotten the straight As he has earned in the past, but that's fine by me. It's a good lesson to learn - that you can do better! [/quote]
