I have been making quick smoothies every morning: 1/3-1/2 cup plain nonfat greek yogurt (chobani), handfull of blueberries, a few strawberries, one banana and about 1/2- 2/3 cup skim milk. blend with hand blender. Keeps me full for about 4-5 hours. For those on weight watchers, it is only 2-3 points depending on exactly howmuch milk and yogurt. It also helps me eat healthier all day long. I have lost 17 pounds since march (also with excecise).
I make about 80 oz of smoothies every other day using Vitamix blender: 32 oz of stonyfeld organic low fat vanilla favor yogurt, 8 bananas, lot of blueberries from costco, lot of strawberries from costco lot of mango from costco lot of Asian persimons from costco some spinach from costco some local market honey I take 20 oz in the morning along with some boiled egg and whole grain oat meal. I take another 20 oz in the afternoon at 4pm on my drive home before my 2 hours workout in the gym. I eat very healthy, don't smoke, drink or junk food. I am 6"2' at 176 lbs with 12% body fat when I had my physical check up two months ago. Stay away from Greek or Danon yogurt. They all contain table sugar or corn syrup fructose. It is best if you make the smoothies yourself so that you know what it contains. good luck..
