If you do contract it, it shouldn’t be as severe. Prolonged exposure can be problematic, even if vaccinated. it’s a SCEINCE school ,correct? You’d think the population would be more likely to vaccinate...[/quote] My son’s pediatrician has seen several cases himself of fully vaccinated mostly college aged teens getting mumps. We were discussing because DS had a severe reaction to his first MMR so he has never gotten a booster and we were checking his titers- which are off the charts high (saying, basically, that he’s had measles previously).
