I have a friend whose DD received a letter from her (top 25) school after her English Lit grade wasn't great during 2nd semester of senior year - they were reviewing her placement. It was a long 2 weeks before they kept the acceptance in place. And she was a good student with good grades and great college acceptances. Even top students can falter with the belief that nothing will come from it, but the truth is that is can happen! Better to tell kids to stay on the ball to avoid these situations![/quote]
