If he had a stroke that impacted his speech, it would be much worse and much more prevalent. Likewise, if he were being covertly “drugged,” as a pp stated, there would be other symptoms and the speech would be much worse. Seems to me as if he had a bridge/dentures that loosened. That would explain the pronunciation of some words toward the end of the speech. [/quote]
