She didn't say she was the smartest person in the room because she was liberal. She just said she was the smartest person in the room. It may be independent of her political persuasion. Secondly, a liberal or anybody can be open-minded about people having different viewpoints than them, but it doesn't mean that they want to spend time with them or be married to them. I think everyone should be able to worship or not as he or she pleases, whether that means being Muslim or athiest, or evangelical Christian. It does not mean I want to be buddies with any of them if their values are different than mine. I still think they should be allowed to practice how they want (if they aren't hurting anybody). See the difference? [/quote]
