He never hurt me and was always kind and a good friend, but he never wanted to kiss me, hold hands, have any kind of affection, yet wanted sex. Uh, no thanks. When we first started dated there was a little bit of excitement in the bedroom because it was new, but that wore off fairly quickly. But yet, he was a good guy. He also kinda let himself go and gained a ton of weight, and gave up some of the hobbies he had that made me like him in the beginning. He became a total couch potato. Yet, he was really nice to me.

I would lay in bed thinking to myself “this is it? 40+ more years of this?” No spark, no nothing, just day after day with a nice roommate.
