It was an edgy show that dealt with many taboo subjects from homosexuality to rape to racism. It would never get on television today. Ditto for MASH. But this was a show about the Vietnam War set in Korea b/c we were still unable to discuss Vietnam. Name me one show today that even comes close in comparison to these two.
