I am 48, 5 6, and my weight has crept up to 150. If I cut out all sugar and alcohol, ate clean at 1200-1400 calories, cardio and weights 4 times a week, do you think this is possible in six weeks?
Same stats. I will join you,OP. What is your plan?
OP here. Pretty much to eat anything with a label with anything I don't recognize, nothing processed, and stay between 1200-1400. Not whole30 exactly, because I need the yogurt for my digestive system. Basically, just drastically clean up my diet with whole foods, and cutting calories, which I should do anyway. I don't currently weight train, and want to start that. I am going to focus more on diet than exercise for weight loss, but incorporate more exercise for well being and health.
I'm thinking of the above, without counting calories. Clean eating is realistic for me longer term, but not 1200 calories. I'm hoping that 1500-1700 in whole foods with exercise will do it, given how bad my diet is now. Suit up!
