Going through IF treatments, there will always be another hurdle and another worry. I'd tell you to relax, but we all know that will never happen. I always tried to reel in my excitement to stay cautiously optimistic, even after years of crushing losses. Truth is, betas mean nothing other than today you are pregnant. In fact, that was my motto. That said, I'm pretty sure everyone who responded before me mistook your original post/correction. Your beta was 1,760 at 14dp5dt aka 19dpo, which is MUCH different than 14dpo. That is a nice, stron beta and I would not worry about multiples quite yet--seeing heartbeat(s) on an U/S is the only way to know if you are having twins. To answer your questions--yes, I had 2 high betas and then an 81hour doubling time. She is now 26 mo. I've also had high betas (identical twins) and a mmc at 9w. Doesn't mean either of these things will happen with you, but I know how the 2ww (and then the next 2ww) messes with your head and makes you Google ALL.THE.THINGS! GL at beta 3 on Monday!
Congrats, OP! I think this post is spot on, particularly the mantra. I am a few weeks further along than you (ironically in both age and pregnancy). I did a fresh transfer of 2 day-3 embryos the last week of Sept. I am currently 7 weeks and feel like I have been wound tightly since the monitoring appt when they began counting follicles. First it was how many eggs will they get, then it was how many embryos will grow, then it was am I pregnant, then it was will these beta keep rising, then it was will they see a heartbeat. To manage it all I focused on doing the things I could control: eating well, taking my meds, sleeping (ive been hella tired this past month). Happily I saw a heartbeat at yesterday's u/s. I know I still have genetics tests in about a month but at some point I need to stop and just be happy and count on my body. Good luck! Hi there! Did you have your genetic test yet?
