We ended up having to get a metallic one from Costco because she was knocking our plastic one over constantly.  We also had her sleep in her crate the first two years downstairs.  This was pre-kids and I will say it was torture listening to her whimper when she went in at night but she fell into a routine.  She now sleeps on a dog bed in our room.  [/quote]
