You have to submit your fingerprints for a license renewal and that is every 4 years. Your badge is also expired and you will be required to update your fingerprints before you are given a new badge. Started off with a provisional license which was then updated to a full license (didn't get fingerprinted). I am up for renewal so we will see if I get asked for fingerprints. Another teacher wasn't asked this past summer. The fact of the matter is that DCPS does a really terrible job when it comes to tracking its people. OSSE said they still a year or two out of being able to enter teachers into the nation-wide database.[/quote][/quote]

Because it's not 60 days out yet so I can't renew it yet?? The point that I was making is that I wasn't asked to be fingerprinted when I went from a provisional to a regular license. [/quote]
