Feldman is doing more harm than good to the cause. Without naming names, but continuing to say "oh, it's out there all right", he comes off as a relevancy seeking boy who cries wolf. It makes the whole thing seem very pizza-gate and unbelievable.
Think of ashley judd. She wrote her story and left names out first. It comes in steps.
Think of the NYT reporter who had this story in 2004 - backed it up with sources - but was told by the NYT editors to bury it. With everything that has come out since 2004, it is understandable that so many American voters give very little credibility to sources like the NYT, WaPo, etc. Journalists no longer abide by any ethical standards in the U.S.
