Wow, the last sentence of this post makes me sad. I’m white and have pretty straight hair and I love natural hair on black women—I think it looks so cool (an I went to high school in the 80s and my poor mother spent a fortune on perms for me)!  But I always refrain from giving compliments because I don’t know how they will be taken. Guess I will stick with that policy. [/quote]
