I grew up in NY and generally do not have any difficulty in calling some one out, but words evaded me.  I just didn't know what would be appropriate.  
This sad sack was telling his daughter that eventually they will play a team that wasn't so terrible.

Thank you and I am not quite sure what to make of some of the responses on here.  Whatever. I am not going to say anything to that dad, he is a jerk and hopefully his daughter won't be, but escalating it by saying something to him would have done nothing.  I feel confident that I did the right thing, for me and my family.

Oh and what did I teach my daughter, high road.

Oh and why did I post my vent here?  Maybe some one would read it?  Maybe, someone that goes to soccerplex? Maybe someone might remember it when they are walking back to the car after a big win, and the big losers walking right beside them.  Maybe they would remember it and perhaps act differently next time.  I don't know, I could probably try to be less obnoxious sometimes too, and the world could be a better place.
