Maybe if the red states took responsibility and properly taxed at the state and local level, they could provide more services for their constituents the way blue states do? But instead, the wealthy of those states continue to ride on the backs of the poor of those states all while continuing the illusions of being rugged individuals who don't need Washington.

Texas has no state income tax and is taking BILLIONS in relief for Harvey. How about Texas impost a temporary tax to pay the US Treasury back?[/quote]
