I am generally fine with either of us taking a break from a discussion as long as there's no silent treatment involved. This felt different because he wasn't just going to the other room for awhile, he was leaving a planned activity and leaving me with the kids. But I should give him the benefit of the doubt that he saw it as a normal "calm down" break. [/quote]
