It IS actually helpful to tell your daughter, "You can make your own decision," sometimes and this is one of those times. I say that to my girl all the time.  She needs to be able to make decisions and deal with it when she makes what she finds out later was the "wrong" decision.[/quote]

Seriously. What's with all the PPs who are lecturing? Maybe OPs daughter will be more comfortable/less anxious if she can imagine her space at camp. OP doesn't have experience so threw it out here as a question. She's not saying she's going to hide under her kid's bed to make sure everything is fine. Jeez.

OP, I had bunk beds with my brother when we were younger, and too was more desirable for us (so we took turns every few months). I don't know if camp is different. [/quote]
