Thoreau parent here .... we are not from this area, but from what I've heard from the principal, what's happening down at Waters Field is nothing I want my kid involved in.  Fortunately, my child has never gone.  I wouldn't be pointing to this as a positive, based on what I've heard at school.  That said, I have only positives to speak about Thoreau.[/quote]

Have you ever been to Waters Field??? My goodness--maybe kids playing basketball, baseball and softball at Waters Field across from the Vienna police station! My son and his friends would stop at Waters after getting Chipotle and play some hoops w/parents of toddlers looking on at the tot lot playground at Vienna Elementary School.  [/quote]
