Don't worry about keeping up.   I have a GAP tote  that I got twenty years ago on the clearance rack for $18.  I have traveled the world and back with my tote and it  is  still holding up.  I just returned from England last Saturday.  Unfortunately, GAP no longer makes this tote.  Just travel and have fun.  No one cares about what type of bag that tourists carry.  Also, with the annoyance of individuals who pick pocket in many places around the world I'm happy that I carry a bag that doesn't scream, "Please rob me!"  I'm weathly, but I will never waste $975 on a bag.  My clearance tote suits me just fine.  :) [/quote]
