I'd be interested to learn what all those who hate this car drive...
I've got a Subaru Outback for the daily driver/knockaround car role. My wife has a Subaru Forrester. The kids both drive Subarus, too, although they both have the hot rod versions. We chose Subaru for crashworthiness, but they're great values, too. I've got a 2004 Dodge 3500 diesel pick up for hauling the horsetrailer/RV/motorcycles/ATV's/Jeep/boats, a off-road-only Jeep, and I've got four "fun" cars: a Factory Five MK 4 roadster with a 302, a '08Miata SCCA race car, a 1937 Auburn boattail roadster, and a 1956 Chevy Bel Air coupe that's in the middle of a restoration and won't be driveable for another year or so, depending on how fast I get it put back together. I also have a 1985 Mooney M20, (because flying short distances commercial is for serfs). A Fountain 35 Lightning (because going 110 on the water is fun), a Grady White 31 walk around (because you can't fish off the Fountain), a couple Triumph motorcycles for the wife and me, a Jayco 5th wheel RV, and a John Deere 710 C backhoe. I own a couple car repair business. That explains why I don't drive BMWs. But I LOVE that so many people do.
