I think they only have about four Asperger's teachers in the entire program.  The problem is not that MCPS doesn't offer it, it's that it is hard to get into the Asperger's program to begin with.  It's a good program, but they won't spend money to increase capacity to meet the need.  However, if you have a willing teacher and your kid takes the Unstuck program at Ivymount, Ivymount will give your teacher low cost training.[/quote]

MCPS should be offering it as a program pretty much across the board not just in the MAP.  They won't b/c they pretty much suck.[/quote]
