Which may be because they are checked out, or it may be because Larla is their youngest (or younger than the teen). My friend's mom was checked out (too busy going on dates) and we did have a lot more freedom at her house (and there were boys and alcohol involved at times when we were 15). But she was also a good friend who cared for me. Just hold firm to your rules but maybe also see if Larla can spend more time at your house?
