Aren't you helpful? Yes, we will be taking an immediate family trip to Disney if this doesn't suit everyone. But that still leaves the question of finding a destination that grandpa plus 2 twenty something's plus 2 young families (5 kids under 7) would all enjoy. Not an easy task. Cruises and Mexico out. Feel free to propose alternatives. [/quote]

I'd be delighted to visit the carribean options but 1. My sister doesn't want to fly and 2. Grandpa doesn't want to deal with long flights (that's why he doesn't like the HI idea). We could drive to Disney. Another Florida option could work, but I don't think there are all inclusives that are well regarded and most non AI resorts are $$ too so might as well try to see if the one the kids are excited about will work.  Grandpa doesn't like the idea of renting a house on a beach (too much work for meals he thinks). So you see it's not quite so easy. Anyway, I do agree the Caymans would be great (maybe not so much for non-swimmers who couldn't take advantage of the snorkeling yet) and I've never been to Aruba and would love to. But with kids of our age range, Disney has appeal if it works. Europe sounds too far and too $$. [/quote]
