So you have some expenses, such as a mortgage or rent, that will be the same regardless of whether your month is 28 days or 31 days.  Then you have other expenses that vary based on the length of the month, like groceries and transportation costs.  It's up to you to manage your budget in accordance with how you're being paid.  I'm imagining if your salaried, the information they gave you about hours per month was an average or example of a typical month.  But if you have questions you should talk to your HR or boss.
