But I'm thinking of at least 3 women in my circle, and 4 in my husband's circle, who wanted/want to get married, and have never even gotten engaged. It's just not something you can MAKE happen. You can try, you can put yourself out there, you can have long-term relationships, but you can't make it happen. One of these women has published a book--so it's not a matter of effort/putting your mind to it. There are a lot of factors you can't control.[/quote]
