Though the thought of weekend yard work still makes my skin crawl. [/quote] The market will get much better toward the spring. It was really good this past fall - lots of options. Some of the condos you might not like because they don't have in unit washer/dryer, and beware of high condo fees. Sure bets as far as big complexes would be Fairlington and Arlington Village as mentioned above, and also The Arlington. The semi-detached units you mentioned are more frequently on the west end of Columbia Pike, where the schools are lower-income. Definitely not a bad thing, but just a note. [/quote]
