[/quote] While I am life long Democrat, it seems to me that there is far more intellectual heft coming from small groups of relatively more conservative students on college campuses today - certainly on a per pupil basis. They actually still believe in having to use reason to formulate and defend their ideas -- and must work harder to do so in anticipation of an onslaught of attacks. The left on campus is so tied up with end results and identity politics that it is to difficult to engage with them in serious debate. [/quote]
