My concern wasn't so much about being able to find out whether DC got accepted, but rather about courtesy/being responsive in the event that a school, in addition to notifying by Ravenna and snail-mail, opted to reach out to accepted families by phone as well. If, for example, a school left a message on our answering machine (unfortunately one that cannot be checked remotely) on 3/3, we wouldn't find out about it until 3/8 and run the risk of seeming rude/non-responsive. Of course, my question is moot if schools that call typically don't leave messages on the home phone and instead try the parents' cell phone next.[/quote]
