OP, most of the great elementary schools, where kids from middle/upper middle class families actually stay beyond K, are in Ward 3. All the Ward 3 elementaries are good. There are a lot of condo and apartment options along Connecticut Avenue, and that's where I would look with your budget. Really anywhere in Ward 3 is a safe bet for elementary. If you stay for middle school, you might favor elementaries that feed to Deal.[/quote]
