I wrote the Mayor's office about this issue during an earlier version, where they were proposing to make government employees pay this themselves since they can't force the federal government to levy this tax and couldn't otherwise make the financials work, but we would not be eligible to receive the benefit. Not sure if that still stands, I haven't read the most recent version to be honest. But my point being, I wrote and never heard back, not even an acknowledgement that the office received my concern. I both emailed the letter and mailed it. [/quote]
